Real Estate
The Real Estate Division manages a range of legal documents that affect property and personal assets, making it a crucial part of land and property transactions in Hall County.
Land Transactions: All records related to land transactions in Hall County are kept in this division. These records go back to 1819 and can be searched by year and name.
Land Plats: These documents are indexed by the year and the name of the person who hired the surveyor to create the plat.
Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Records: The division handles UCC filings, which include liens on personal property (like boats, electronics, or business inventory) that serve as collateral for loans. UCC filings are electronically filed through the Georgia Superior Court Clerks Cooperative Authority.
General Execution Dockets: These contain records of various liens, including:
- Hospital Liens
- Federal and Georgia Income Tax Liens
- Pending Lawsuits**
- Preliminary Notice of Lien Rights
- Materialman's Liens
