Board of Equalization
The Hall County Board of Equalization (BOE) consists of citizens of the county appointed by the Grand Jury for the purpose of providing independent and unbiased hearings of property tax appeals. By law, the Clerk of Court serves as the Tax Appeal Administrator and coordinates the administrative functions of the Board. The Clerk of Court does not appoint members of the board or make decisions on behalf of the board and is no way associated with the Hall County Tax Assessors.
