In accordance with House Bill 1292, Real Estate recordings must be E-Filed through the GSCCCA Portal effective January 1, 2025. Filers must verify their identity with government issued photo identification.

New Domestic Relations Standing Order effective March 1, 2025

Obtain Certified and Regular Copies Online via eCertification
We are pleased to inform you that the Hall County Clerk of Court’s Office has launched a new and convenient service: eCertification. This service allows attorneys and the public to electronically request certified Court and Real Estate Records at any time, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. -
New Changes to Real Estate Recordings
Effective January 1, 2025, House Bill 1292 requires that real estate documents presented by self-filers, anyone who is a party to an instrument, be recorded using electronic filing. Additionally, all individuals submitting documents for electronic filing will be required to upload their government-issued ID. The ID will be verified before the filer is allowed to proceed with the filing. O.C.G.A. § 44-2-39(b)(1). -
Swearing-in ceremony held for four elected officials at Roosevelt Square
Four newly elected officials were sworn in on Friday, Nov. 13, during a ceremony held at Roosevelt Square in Gainesville. During the event, David Gibbs was sworn in as Hall County Chairman, Mark Pettitt as Hall County Clerk of Courts, John "Tripp" Wingate as Hall County State Court Judge and John G. Breakfield as Superior Court Judge of the Northeastern Judicial Circuit.
